Vessel Operations

The ICL Group presently controls all of the vessels operating under our service. It is with this vessel fleet that ICL has established the benchmark for schedule reliability on the North Atlantic trade lane. All vessels comply with all applicable regulations including SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea), MARPOL (International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships), ISPS (International Ship and Port Facilities Security Code) and the ISM (International Safety Management) code.

ICL Equipment
ICL equipment is subjected to continuous inspection to insure the fleet is safe and cargo worthy and we have established a regular equipment replacement program to regularly update our container fleet. ICL has a long history of operating heavy-capacity dry vans that maximize equipment utilization for specialized / heavy cargo.

ICL operates a modern chassis fleet in the United States and our Maintenance and Repair department carefully and regularly inspects each chassis to insure safety over the road. We believe that our M&R program is at the forefront of our industry.
