The entire ICL staff collected € 566 to donate to the 'Belgisch Centrum voor Geleidehond' (The Belgian Centre for seeing eye dogs). Mrs. Vivian May, of the Döhle organisation, also donated € 566 to support this initiative.
On July 25th, the cheque was donated to Mrs. Aline Valkenborg (chairlady of the Board of the BCG.). With her is her seeing eye dog, Xandy.
The organisation trains seeing eye-dogs and helps blind people to function with their dog in day to day life.
The main objective being that visually impaired people become more mobile and thus function better in the community.
