Independent Maritime Terminal, which is part of the ICL Group, extends from Berth 242 through 246, and covers 154,000 square meters with a quay length of 450 meters. In addition to ocean container transportation, the facility offers mutli-modal access to inland transportation, whether truck, barge or rail. 

With terminal congestion becoming a legitimate concern in Europe, the ICL Group has purchased the terminal in Antwerp and it has been their home since 1989, allowing us to control this key part of our customers supply chain.

  • Deep sea vessels – services vessels and barges with an allowable draft of 12 meters.
  • Large storage facility – within the terminal is warehouse space of 8,000 square meters that can be utilized for stripping and stuffing of containers as well as for short-term storage.

Liverpool Port is ideally situated in the heart of the United Kingdom. Liverpool Port has long been known as the main UK gateway to North America. Through Seaforth Container Terminal we are able to offer excellent road, rail, and sea connections to all areas of Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England. ICL has had a weekly call in Liverpool since October 1999.

Penn Terminal  is a privately owned facility accessed via Exit 8 on Interstate 95. Located in Eddystone, PA, Penn Terminals is 12 miles south of Philadelphia and 11 miles north of Wilmington, DE. Interstate 95 is just 2 miles away.

Cargo can be accepted in domestic trailers (pier service can be provided at an extra charge) or containers. Container rail service available on a Philadelphia Rail/Ramp basis (CSX). ICL, however, does not have public container pools in the Midwest.

North Carolina State Ports Authority, the Port of Wilmington offers terminal facilities serving container, bulk and break-bulk operations.  Wilmington is one of the few South Atlantic ports with readily available berths and storage areas for containers and cargo.

Wilmington is the closest Port to major points on the I-85 Corridor, including Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh-Durham. Recent improvement to regional and national highway networks make surface transportation supporting the Port of Wilmington's container terminal superior to
neighboring ports.
