ICL understands that there is more to your cargo’s transport than just the ocean portion. The same great service we give you on the ocean carries over to our intermodal services. At ICL, we have our own personnel overseeing our intermodal movements. This means we have direct access between departments to keep constant communication regarding your cargo. This includes transport over the road, rail, or barge in the United States and Europe.

Overweight permits are utilized where available to maximize container utilization in the U.S. We also offer transfer of your cargo into or out of Marine containers onto Domestic Trailers, Flatbeds and Rail Cars for movement of the cargo to/ from the customer’s facilities under our Bill of Lading.

Only well-trained transportation professionals, dedicated to safety and efficiency, are employed by our organization. All aspects of safety, professionalism, and timeliness are adhered to when you use ICL Intermodal to arrange your intermodal transportation needs, in unison with our ocean portion, making it a seamless transportation experience.
